(Please Click Date to Enroll)

Skill Level:  Beginner

Prerequisites: None!

Class Description:  In just one fun and quick day you can make a amazing, ultra-sleek two-tone ladder bookshelf from gorgeous walnut and white oak! Neither experience nor any prerequisites required. Enjoy hands-on experience with tablesaws, bandsaws, mortising machines, drill presses, hand tools and edge banding of plywood. This impeccably designed piece of furniture will be as sculptural and beautiful in your house as it is functional.  This class is 100% for beginners and we know you’ll love both the experience and the finished project!

We have available two colors of connector bolt hardware that is visible at each shelf on the outsides of the frame – antique bronze that invisibly blends right into the walnut or bright gold that pops as an accent.

Cost: Tuition ($149) + materials ($249) = $398

Companion Participant Discount: If you wish to have an additional participant join you to make a single project, they can join at 25% OFF the tuition and no materials cost! Call us at (267) 331-5880 if you want to take advantage of this.

Important to Know Regarding Finishing:  At the end of this course you will have a sanded project ready for you to finish (oil, poly, etc.) on your own however you like.  In class we will give you direction for several different finishing methods. We also have a wonderful finishing outline to help guide you after class.  Lastly, we can recommend to students a fantastic professional spray finisher.

Important to Know Regarding Assembly:  To aid in both transportation to home as well as finishing, this project is designed to be disassembled and re-assembled easily at home.  All that is needed is a Phillips head screw driver and a 5/32″ Allen wrench (which is available for sale at PW for only $2).

Cancellation or Rescheduling: Allowable only 14 or more days from start of class. See our full Reservation and Cancellation Policy here.
