Class Description: We are very happy to partner with Michael McCaulley, Philadelphia’s favorite sommelier, on a one-of-a-kind event named Wine & Wood!  This amazing evening starts with making gorgeous hardwood cheese boards and finishes with an expert wine tasting with Michael McCaulley, formerly the Wine Director of Tria and the Food and Beverage Director of Di Bruno Bros.  Absolutely no woodworking experience necessary whatsoever — just excitement for a great DIY experience. Michael’s premium wine tasting will focus on the effects of different types of wood aging on wines from around the world. This event is perfect for a date, an evening with family and friends or a solo night out to meet some great new people!

IMPORTANT NOTE: The boards to be made will be a single piece of gorgeous, quarter sawn African Mahogany, not the stripped boards from the pictures from past events.  This change in material allows students to do more work hands-on from complete scratch compared to working with pre-designed, pre-milled and pre-glued striped boards as prior events used.

This event is BYO food, so feel free to bring whatever cheese, fruit and snacks you like!

Cost: $149 (includes everything!) per person
