Class Description: Building on the skills acquired in our Comprehensive Introduction to Woodturning, this intermediate-level workshop is a perfect one-day challenge!  Alongside master woodturner Ed Youtz, you will further develop and hone your spindle and hollowing skills as you build from scratch a lidded box – a staple of the woodturner’s repertoire! Lidded boxes are both sculptural and functional – perfect for around the house or for a gift!

Feeling a little rusty? No problem at all! This course starts off with a full review and refresher of spindle turning and hollowing to get you back in the swing of things.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Tuition: $179 + materials ($19)
