Class Description: Most will never believe that a table with such gorgeous lines and elegant details can be built in just two days, but this amazing class does exactly that! From the tapered legs to the beaded apron, from the back-beveled top to the inset shelf, this table in your home or office will blow you away every single time you see it. Students receive training on and enjoy two full days of hands-on use of all of the key woodshop equipment for furniture making including the jointer, planer, table saw and router!  Whether you just want a fun 2-day experience or a longer-term hobby in woodworking, this class is an absolute must-take!

Design Options:  Students have two different sizes and five different species of wood from which to choose.  See below for pricing of the different options.

• Side Table Size: 18″ long x 18″ deep x 24″ tall
• Hall Table Size: 30″ long x 18″ deep x 30″ tall
• Available Species: Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany, Red Oak, White Oak, Hard Maple

Tuition: $399 + materials (see below)

Cost of Materials:  Because of the flexibility we wish to offer students with the ability to choose from different sizes and different species of wood, the materials cost will vary based on each student’s choices.  The ‘base materials kit’ price is collected at the time of enrollment, and pricing increases are collected approximately two weeks before the beginning of class, when size and species choices must be made.

• Base Materials Kit: $149+tax and includes materials for the Side Table (smaller) size in any of the following species:
  • Cherry, White Oak, or Hard Maple
• Hall Table Size Upgrade: +$59
• Walnut or Mahogany Wood Upgrade: +25% to all pricing above.

Please Note: At the end of this course you will have an assembled project ready for you to touch-up sand and finish on your own at home however you like. In class we will give you direction for several different finishing methods. We also have a wonderful finishing outline to help guide you after class. Lastly, we can refer you to a reasonably priced professional finisher who can spray finish your table!
