Event Description: With heat, wood, and a steady hand, a pyrography artist can transform a simple piece of wood into a stunning work of art. Discover the art of pyrography—drawing with fire—in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn the fundamentals of wood burning and how different woods react to heat. In just a few hours of guided instruction you’ll gain the skills and confidence to design and complete your own unique woodburning artwork. Pyrography is a relaxing, expressive craft that requires minimal space and is perfect for curious creatives and first-time makers alike. All materials and tools are provided for use during class, and you’ll leave with a finished piece and the knowledge you need to continue exploring this rewarding art form at home.
