Class Description: The table saw is arguably the most versatile and useful tool in modern woodworking.  Learning how to use the table saw productively and safely is an absolute must for all beginners — and even for those of you who are self taught and need the basics. Join us for a fun and hands-on 3 hour class on fundamental table saw use and safety. We’ll teach you about safety, table saw blades, how to make rip, cross, mitered, rabbet and dado cuts.  All class long you will be learning on SawStop brand table saws — the safest saw in the world that stops if skin contact is made with the blade! In class you will learn a wide array of techniques while making a very simple yet well constructed small box that has universal lessons for building cabinets, bookshelves, drawers, etc. Learning the table saw is a must for even beginner hobbyist and this class is the class for you!
